I was given this CD as a gift by a friend of mine, Gigi Marson, who is a very good piano player and also happens to have been one of the leading members of this quartet. His gift was after he had let me listen to a live performance by Bruno De Filippi, one of the very few performers playing jazz with a mouth-organ.
At the time, still in the ‘90s years, the quartet had been made by Bruno De Filippi (mouth-organ), Gigi Marson (Hammond organ), Marco Ricci (bass), and Tommy Brandascio (drums). Susy Renzi was the singer of some of their songs.
